FAQs

Where does the weaving come from?

I, Lauren, create it all! The handwoven fabric is woven through a freestyle technique called "SAORI" on a Japanese SAORI loom. SAORI is a method of weaving which focuses on free expression and self innovation. In SAORI, weaving becomes a form of art. Each SAORI piece is unique and one-of-a-kind!

How do I care for my weaving?

Gently hand wash in cold water, lay flat or hang to dry. Iron when needed. Due to its handwoven structure, small blemishes are a natural part of the creative process and are often intentional. Please treat loose fibers with care and enjoy them as a part of the creative wearable piece! Contact us for any additional questions regarding care.

Why does it cost what it does?

Price is calculated per item based on a number of variants, including time spent weaving, materials used, cost of upcycled items, time spent preparing and finishing items (and more).

Can I place a custom or wholesale order?
